Village Caregiving - Lexington is Hiring a Caregiver Near Winchester, KY

Village Caregiving - Lexington is seeking a compassionate and dedicated MALE caregiver to provide quality care and support to our elderly clients. As a part-time caregiver, you will be responsible for assisting clients with daily activities, promoting their overall well-being, and maintaining a safe and comfortable living environment. This individual contributor role offers a competitive hourly wage of $15 to $16 per hour and an opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our clients.
Compensation & Benefits:

- Paid training, including CPR, and ongoing development opportunities

Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with daily activities such as grooming, dressing, bathing, and toileting
- Provide medication reminders 
- Help residents with mobility and transferring as needed
- Plan and prepare meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients
- Provide companionship and engage in social activities 
- Monitor and report any changes in health and behavior to the appropriate supervisor
- Follow all policies and procedures in compliance with state regulations and Village Caregiving - Lexington standards
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Relevant experience in caregiving, healthcare, or a related field preferred but not required
- CPR training will be provided
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate, patient, and empathetic demeanor
- Ability to work independently and multitask effectively
